I wrestled first with the flesh, the inner battle no one else sees. Temptations, desires, and old wounds tried to convince me I was beyond God’s reach. But I looked within to uncover what traumas and/ or other experiences led to my toxic behaviors. Self-improvement is honesty, which is a characteristic of Jesus Christ.
Then came the world, the systems and communities shaped by darkness. I endured community mobbing, organized stalking, and the pressure of groups that demanded loyalty at the cost of my freedom. With the Holy Spirit guiding me, I identified toxic patterns used to break not only spiritually, but also psychologically. Then, strategically I knew how to pray by aligning what was happening with the freedom from The Word of God.
Finally, I faced the devil, the direct opposition of the enemy himself. There were moments of torment, deception, and coordinated attack that no psychology textbook could explain. The more the light of Christ shone in me, the more fiercely darkness tried to extinguish it. But I knew that we wrestle with spirits. Proper identification or calling by name of that spirit provided power to rebuke it in The Name of Jesus and finally cast it out of my divine path.
What was meant for harm, God turned into purpose. My story is about our salvation. Deliverance is real, judgment is coming, and the light of Christ is stronger than every system of darkness. The power to overcome came from my repentence and surrendor to God.
